The Lancet Respiratory Medicine considers any original research contribution that advocates change in, or illuminates, clinical practice in respiratory medicine, and publishes interesting and informative reviews on any topic connected with respiratory medicine. Manuscripts must be solely the work of the author(s) stated, not have been published previously elsewhere, and not be under consideration by another journal. Articles should be written to be clearly understandable to the journal's readers in a wide range of specialties and countries. Diagrams, figures, and photographs (ideally in colour) should be used to supplement and enhance the text. If you require further clarification, the journal's editorial staff will be pleased to help.
